After nearly 10 years working at Nebraska, I’ve got quite a number of highlights — and more than my share of lowlights — that dot my career in athletics. No matter which side is being viewed, I’ve been one lucky SOB to be able to do this job at this place for that long.
As I’ve started to clean out my desk and wind down over the next few days before leaving for Atlanta, I’ve really started to reminisce on my career here. So many good people I’ve met and incredible things I’ve experienced. Amazing, it really is.
With that in mind, I want to try to come up with my list of the most memorable moments during my Nebraska career. I’m not sure where this will go or what will make the list, but I’ll have plenty of time to think about it over the weekend when I drive to and back from Illinois to visit my family.
So check back Sunday or Monday night. That is if you’re interested. But I’m guessing that if you’re one of the three people that will probably ever read this, you may just come back.
As a little teaser, here’s one that will definitely be in the mix. Possibly the most thrilling athletic moment I’ve witnessed first-hand in my life.
